Who is Andrew Tate?

After being tipped off by the U.S. Embassy, the Romanian police raided the home of Tate brothers' and arrested the brothers.

On December 29, 2022, Andrew and Tristan Tate were put behind bars.

Dec 30, 2022, their detention was prolonged by 30 days.

January 10, 2023

Bucharest court rejected the appeal of the extension by The Tate’s on January 10. Appeal was rejected forcing Tate’s to stay in the country.

January 20, 2023

Romanian court extended the brothers' pre-trial detention until February 27.

March 14, 2023

The brothers were denied bail for a third time.

Andrew Tate released from prison?

Andrew and Tristan were released from prison in Bucharest after a successful appeal against the decision to extend their imprisonment for another 30 days.

Tate brothers and their two alleged accused - Georgiana Naghel and Luana Radu - have now been released on house arrest.

Ramona Bolla, a spokesperson for Romania's anti-organized crime agency, conformed they will be under house arrest until April 29.

They have been ordered to stay in the house where they live, unless they have legal permission to leave.

The investigation into the charges alleged against the tates will continue.

Andrew Tate spoke "[I thank the judges] who heard us today because they were very attentive, and they listened to us, and they let us free. I have no resentment in my heart for the country of Romania or for anybody else, I just believe in the truth ... I truly believe that justice will be served in the end. There is zero percent chance of me being convicted for something I've not done."
